- HPRAC 2005-2006 Project Update – Psychotherapy - Registration Deadline Extended
The Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council is now beginning the public phase of consultation regarding possible regulation of psychotherapy and/or psychotherapists in Ontario.
To stimulate discussion, a Consultation Discussion Guide has been prepared, which outlines the current situation in Ontario and possible regulatory approaches, and poses a series of questions. All interested parties are invited to make a written submission to HPRAC using the Discussion Guide questions as the basis for submissions. A Literature Review and Jurisdictional Review have also been prepared as background material. The deadline for written submissions is Friday, October 21, 2005.
Public Consultations will also take place throughout Ontario in late September through mid October 2005. Please see HPRAC 2005-2006 Project Update or visit the Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council's web site for further details.
