New Report Highlights Effectiveness of Community Mental Health & Addiction Programs in Ontario




Ontario Federation of Community Mental Health and Addiction Programs to call for more provincial funding



(Toronto, Ontario) – The Ontario Federation of Community Mental Health and Addiction Programs will release a new report highlighting the effective role played by community-based programs in mental health and addiction programs in Ontario, and underscoring the critical need for more provincial funding at a news conference in the Queen’s Park Media Studio on January 27 at 11 a.m.

.

David Kelly, Executive Director of the Federation, together with people who have been helped by community-based mental health and addiction programs, will be on hand to present the results of the Report. A question and answer session will follow short presentations.



The Ontario Federation of Community Mental Health and Addiction Programs is the voice of 216 community-based organizations that deliver programs to help people cope with and recover from mental illness and addiction problems.
